Accessibility

Our commitment to disabled passengers, and how accessible this website is.

Accessibility & Assistance Dogs Statement GC-CT-11, version 1.0, October 2026.

Travelling with us

  1. Assistance dogs are always carried, free of charge. Drivers may only refuse with a valid medical exemption certificate issued by TfL, displayed in the vehicle; in that case we send another vehicle at no extra cost.
  2. We never charge extra because a passenger uses a wheelchair or needs extra assistance.
  3. Tell us about any mobility, sensory or communication needs when booking so we can send a suitable vehicle and allow extra time. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available on request.
  4. Drivers give reasonable help with boarding, luggage and mobility aids and are trained in disability awareness.
  5. Information can be provided in large print or other formats on request.
  6. Concerns can be raised through our complaints procedure; we treat accessibility complaints as a priority.

This website

We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site:

  • works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline;
  • uses text and colour combinations with strong contrast;
  • labels every form field and explains errors in words;
  • works at 400% zoom and on small screens;
  • keeps movement to a minimum and respects your device's reduced-motion setting.

We check the site with automated tools and by hand when we change it. If something doesn't work for you, call 020 3369 3333, email info@gulfcars.co.uk, or WhatsApp us, and we'll help you book another way and fix the problem.
